1. | Think about your messaging. There are many online events that are taking place every day, and your prospects receive dozens of invitations. You need to catch their attention. You might try to build it around a specific vertical/industry you are working with. Another good idea would be to ask your happy Acumatica customers to co-present with you – prospects like to hear from companies from the same space. |
2. | You need to think about the quality of your database. How many names do you have in the distribution list? How “cold” are they? Typically for Lunch & Learn events we recommend inviting prospects in mid to end of the funnel – prospects who are already familiar with Acumatica, or at least ERP solutions in general, or your existing customers using other ERP tools. Otherwise, they might just not be ready for this level of engagement. So, if your list is pretty cold, consider starting by warming it up with a “lighter” content. In order to do so, you can use the library of prebuilt campaigns that we have in Marketing Automation Platform. |
3. | You need a sufficient number of prospects. If your list is more mid-funnel leads, ideally you should have about 2,000 contacts in your list. But if these are contacts who already know you, a shorter list might be enough. |
4. | And last but not least is how you promote the event. How many invites do you plan on sending? We recommend that you send at least 3 pre-event and 2 post event emails. Also, it’s a great idea to complement your email and social efforts with tele prospecting. Offering your prospect a free lunch is a good reason for a call!
